activICE automatically activates when a user enters a hospital and fails to respond to prompts. On activation the app will sound an alarm and present the users medical information and emergency contacts on to the lock screen for emergency workers to see.

It also automatically SMS's and e-mails the users' emergency contacts that they're in hospital and provides the hospital information and contact details.

The app works in 8500+ hospitals throughout Australia, NZ, UK and USA. It's supported by a redundant cloud application so it can work all the time.

It uses low powered location services in the background to monitor a users' proximity to hospital and only activates after a certain period of time. The app will also wake up even if a user removes it from their running apps or if the operating system closes it, so it's 24/7 protection.
