Boo

Boo is the social app for dating and making friends. A mix of social + dating—Twitter + dating, Tiktok + dating, Reddit + dating, Instagram + dating— Boo is building a dating and making friends experience through the formats we already know and love, while making social less toxic and social again. Most people don't find success on dating apps because everything amazing about them have been reduced to their most superficial meat characteristics. Yet existing apps care more about the needs of GigaChads and social elites. Boo believes people should be given a fighting chance to show their personality and the depth of who they are, and not judged solely by the confines of a picture and job title, while empowered to deeply understand the souls behind the images. Boo addresses this issue by using personality types, inspired by the Myers Briggs (MBTI) and the Five Factor Model (Big 5), to predict attraction and compatibility for the long term.
