Evernews: Inspired by True Events

Evernews app is an inspirational source for history and pop culture enthusiasts. It was born out of pure passion and we believe it could have some great impact on the "On This Day" type of apps on the App Store.

Evernews app compiles a list of events that happened “on this day" in the mainstream of world culture, events related to history, science, technology, art and pop culture in general. One of our main strengths, we believe, is the use of public domain and Creative Commons licensed images, marking events' locations with easy access to maps (where reasonable), and also giving access to article's Wikipedia entry - if someone would like to dig deeper in the certain topic.

Our main goal is to remain short (with short headlines), educational and inspirational. Evernews was also optimized with accessibility features, by providing auto-read headlines:
