Frolo is the first and only app of its kind globally for single parents. Frolo empowers single parents by creating an easy access ecosystem of meaningful connections and support. The Discovery feature makes it easy to connect with like minded local single parents in the same area. The Feed is a safe place for Users to connect with the wider community for guidance, support, advice or to share ideas or news with. The Meetup section allows users to find and create in real life and virtual meet ups from playdates to camping trips and from Virtual Friday night drinks to expert virtual meetups. The Chat part of the app is where users can message their private connections or join or create topic related group chats that ranges from Co Parenting tips to Bants and Chats group.
The Frolo app went live in September 2019 since then we have acquired nearly 25,000 registered users, of which c. 7,000 are active on a monthly basis and 1,500 on a daily basis. Users have had over 1million individual sessions. Over 4,000 meet ups have been attended. In the English Speaking Western World there are over 28 million single parents and growing. In the UK and Ireland currently 1 in 4 households is single parent lead. At present this community of parents is relatively underserved with the majority of parenting networks being Mum focused and not specifically addressing the challenges faced by single parents.
Right now we are solving the pain point of connection and loneliness for single parents really well, our next focus is to introduce a Frolo Dating offering (currently in development) and a Frolo Directory, which will make it easier for our community to access and book and buy trusted resources, experts and experiences, that are rated and reviewed by the community.
We've achieved significant endorsements from leading publications including The Independent, The Guardian, The Telegraph, Sky News, The Sunday Times, the Evening Standard, Hello and Grazia. Apple have features Frolo on their App Store three times since launch.
Most importantly the feedback has been extremely positive highlighting why the world needs Frolo.
