Little Greta is dedicated to transforming the museum and gallery experience by integrating innovative technologies that bring art and history to life in new and engaging ways. Our latest project, developed in collaboration with the Regional Gallery of Fine Arts in Zlín, Czech Republic, showcases how augmented reality (AR) can enhance visitor interaction and deepen understanding of contemporary Czech art and modern architecture. This mobile app offers a thoughtful blend of digital and physical spaces, allowing visitors to explore exhibits through an interactive and user-friendly platform.
Visitors can engage with the gallery’s contemporary Czech art and modern architecture in unprecedented ways — viewing 3D reconstructions, exploring hidden details, and accessing rich multimedia content — all through a seamless and intuitive interface. The app's non-linear navigation system, guided by an interactive map of the gallery, encourages visitors to discover exhibits at their own pace, making the experience more personal and immersive.
Despite the challenges of aligning with the visual and thematic elements of the physical exhibition, the app successfully complements the gallery’s mission to foster community engagement and appreciation for the arts. Through this project, Little Greta and the gallery demonstrate a commitment to using technology not just to innovate but to enhance cultural experiences, making art more accessible, interactive, and engaging for all audiences.
