The Pfister Hotel Augmented Reality Application

The Pfister Hotel was the first hotel in the U.S. to launch an augmented reality tour to show off its collection of Victorian art collection and historic artifacts. Augmented reality offers live views of real-world things that are "augmented" with additional elements, such as sound, video, games and graphics. Ten works of art from the hotel's art collection are part of the interactive tour, which launched in October 2014. The app, which can be accessed by smart phones, will be available for download at a special web site, which offers details about the tour and explains how augmented reality works: www.pfisterAR.com. The app is also available at Apple Store and on Google Play. The judges can scan the work through a PDF located in a dropbox folder since they cannot be on property to experience the tour. The application itself can be downloaded at the link provided on the website. Here is the dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5q5heah3ny7zj8s/augmented-reality-sample.pdf?dl=0
