This app has been designed and created to reduce food waste one connection at a time. This is accomplished through state-of-the-art technology enabling users to connect with other nearby users in their neighborhoods to share food surpluses and/or request food needs. The ideology of "borrowing a cup of sugar" from a neighbor is not new. However, even in this virtually connected world people lack real connection with one another.
