EY TaxChat is an on-demand, mobile tax preparation service that connects you to EY tax professionals who prepare and file an individual's taxes.

EY keeps it simple. Customers take a picture of their tax documents and upload them through the app, on a smartphone or tablet, or via the cloud or computer. In addition, the platform's chat function allows users to connect to an EY professional to ask questions at any time during the process. The tax return is then prepared and sent to the individual for review and approval before EY files it on their behalf with US state and federal authorities.

EY TaxChat successfully brings global capabilities and experienced professionals, typically only available to large companies, to individuals who need more than a DIY-simple system to file their taxes with ease and confidence. EY TaxChat gives users the combined benefits of simplicity, convenience and mobility to make it easy for filers to comply with federal and state tax laws.

On average, we have had 31,000 visitors on our site or app each week since our launch in January 2020, with the numbers per week growing regularly.
