SnapLinx

SnapLinx: an app that lets you share files and links with nearby smartphones without contact information. Like AirDrop, but inter-operable for iOS and Android smartphones. Instead of sharing files and links through Bluetooth connections, SnapLinx is server-based, and uses Bluetooth Low Energy Advertisements with unique identifiers to reach all smartphones with SnapLinx installed that are within Bluetooth range. Receiving smartphones get a notification of a shared file or link. Clicking on the notification downloads the file or link from the server and opens the file or link in a viewer.
