Recently we had an opportunity to speak with Elnaz Sarraf , the Vice President at iBaby Labs about iBaby Care App

What was your main objective or motivation for creating your mobile app?

The main objective for creating the app was to make parenting lives easier. There is no love stronger than that of a parent, and every parent cares for their child. Being able to know what is happening to your child at any given point of time or day, and from any location was the goal of the app. But not just that, we also wanted to make parents' experience as seamless and easy as possible.

What is the coolest or most innovative feature of your app?

Well, where do we start? :) I guess it depends. Some parents really enjoy the ability to remotely control the monitor from anywhere – and it allows parents to turn it 360° and tilt 110°. For other families, the ability to share the view with their relatives and control privacy settings is of utmost importance. We love clear HD video and two-way sound!

What features do you hope to roll out to your app in the future?

We have a few ideas in mind, but cannot talk about them just yet. Stay tuned for lots of exciting features to come!

What is your favorite mobile app to date and which have inspired you?

There are lots of useful and fun apps that are helpful for future mothers and parents and it's hard to pick one!

Could you share a challenging factor of the development or marketing process?

We often get questions like, 'It's a baby monitor, but can I use it to monitor my pet?'. We say, 'Yes! Of course.' iBaby monitors can help you keep an eye on all your loved ones.

Do you plan on releasing your app to other platforms as well?

We are already on Android, iPhone and iPad. We are planning to be available on Apple Watch in the future.

If you could describe your app in ONE word, what would it be and why?

Convenient!
