Please share with us the backstory of what motivated you to create this app.

My journey began at the age of 9, growing up in San Francisco with my single mom. I want to take you back to our childhood—a time when imagination knew no bounds and adventures awaited at every corner. This was an era when kids, often left alone for hours, transformed the ordinary into the extraordinary.

My best friend Paul and I were inseparable. We explored the streets and playgrounds of Golden Gate Park, immersing ourselves in games of cops and robbers, morphing into larger-than-life robots, and battling as ferocious dinosaurs. Paul, with his wit and humor, brought laughter that resonated throughout our neighborhood. What made our bond unique was that Paul was deaf. Yet, our friendship had its own language—a silent understanding that transcended words.

As we grew older, these cherished memories stayed with me. They inspired the creation of "LisN." As the founder and CEO, my mission became clear: to build a platform where every voice and story is heard and valued. "LisN" is not just about technology; it’s about bridging gaps, breaking barriers, and amplifying voices that have long been unheard.

How did you decide which platforms to release your app on and do you plan on releasing your app to other platforms?

Deciding which platforms to release LisN on involved an extensive evaluation process. We conducted a thorough cost-benefit analysis, rigorous security reviews, and sustainability discussions with our development team. After careful consideration, we chose to launch LisN on iOS and Android to reach the widest audience possible and ensure a seamless user experience. As for future plans, we are continuously exploring additional platforms to expand our reach and bring LisN to even more users around the world.

Which other mobile apps or technology have inspired you?

I was inspired by the magic of old-school radio. Growing up, listening to the radio was an exciting and fresh experience. In today's ocean of content, I wanted to recapture the joy of letting the radio play and being pleasantly surprised when your favorite song comes on. That feeling of spontaneous delight—making people dance, smile, and LisN—is what drove the creation of our app.

What features do you hope to roll out to your app in the future?

These additions will expand our content and push beyond the traditional listening experience. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of technology, creativity, and innovation.
