Recently we had an opportunity to speak with Nastya Koshko, the UI/UX Designer at Fingers Media about Revelton Guide

Please share with us the backstory of what motivated you to create this app.

Revelton Suites Apatments is the World's Friendliest Service, and they want to improve theirselves and never stop.

The main goal of the application is to give the additional value for lodgers and make their trip better.

What features do you hope to roll out to your app in the future?

We have big plans, primarily in the direction of improving the service of the Revelton Suites Apartments.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of the creation of this app?

There is creation not only a convenient iOS app, but also visually pleasing, which supports the brand of Revelton Suites Apatments.

What is the coolest or most innovative feature of your app?

The coolest feature is Wishlist, where you can add the places you want to visit. You don't need to remember its name, address or search it in your notes. You can add any place and get quick access to your list.

What surprised you most in your journey to create this app?

Even before the launch, Revelton Guide was highly rated by various platforms like 'App of the Day' at Tappawards and featured in Interaction section on Behance.

Which other mobile apps or technology have inspired you?

We are inspired by neat, beautiful and thoughtful interfaces with an excellent UX. Applications that understand importance of a good UI is an significant part of UX. Applications such as Airbnb, which know their users well and solve their problems elegantly.

Do you have any recommendations or advice for others wanting to create a mobile app?

Don't be afraid to test your ideas. Even if you don't have a strong brand, but only the idea of a product, there are solutions that will help to check your hypotheses. There's no need to create a large application from scratch, it will be expensive and the cost of failure is high. If you are at the ideation stage, we advise you to create an MVP (Minimum Viable Product). This will save money and help you understand needs of users and then you can consciously develop your product and make it the best in the market.

How did you decide which platforms to release your app on and do you plan on releasing your app to other platforms?

We stopped at one platform to test the idea. We chose iOS, because the application is planned to be installed on the internal devices of the Revelton Suites, and there they use Apple.

How is your app different than the rest of the market? Which unique need does it fill?

We didn't set out to create another application for hotel booking or one of many guides.

Revelton Guide is an assistant for tourist who comes to Karlovy Vary or Tallinn. There is everything you need: information about the city and various institutions and entertainments. Built-in map with quick routing. Information about the hotel and the ability to quickly contact the reception by phone or mail or through messengers.
