We had a chance to speak to Arya Farzin, the Co-founder/CEO at The Fitness Games LLC about The Fitness Games

Could you share a challenging factor of the development or marketing process?

One of the biggest challenges has been getting the word out. Exposure is what we need.

Do you plan on releasing your app to other platforms as well?

We are currently on Android, iPhone, and iPad. We haven't ruled other platforms out, however we want to perfect the ones we are on first, before expanding.

If you could describe your app in ONE word, what would it be and why?

Motivating

Were there any unexpected surprises post-release of your app?

Mostly just how difficult it is to get your app featured and out there.

What features do you hope to roll out to your app in the future?

We have a long list of features that will keep this app cutting edge for years. Some of the basic include syncing to devices and heart rate monitors. We are constantly thinking of ideas and improvements to keep our app on top and to provide a perfect user experience. We are currently working hard on something very special that users will love. We hope to release it in the next couple months.

What is the coolest or most innovative feature of your app?

The ability to challenge anyone, anywhere, to any type of workout using a unique point system that determines how hard a user has exercised.

What is your favorite mobile app to date and which have inspired you?

I am actually a big fan of the karaoke app Smule. I love music and think it's amazing how they have connected the world through music. I was a fan of this app before The Fitness Games was even released, and it was incredible to scroll through the award winners and see our app right next to Smule. That was something special.

What was your main objective or motivation for creating your mobile app?

After losing over 200 lbs and turning what seemed impossible to possible, I wanted to create a way for millions to get motivated, feel supported, and to reach their goals.
